INESC-Macau and CaseEdinfor (belonging to EDP Group) will sign a cooperation memorandum to establish a collaborative relationship and associate the sharing of technical experiences for the sake of mutual interest for both organizations.

INESC Macau was established in 1996. It is a non-profit institution devoted to scientific research, technological development, technology transfer, and training in the area of information technologies, communication, electronics and power system in Macau. One of the vital missions of INESC-Macau is to serve as an active bridge in scientific cooperation between P.R. China and Portugal. As INESC is also actively collaborating with academic and research institutes in Mainland China and European Union, these international experiences will in turn be useful towards the reinforced partnership.

CaseEdinfor was originated from integration of Case's and Edinfor's SAP (Service, Application, Product) R/3 Units in a single organization, later becoming a complementary Enterprise and a joint-stock company on 7th August 2000. The mission and objectives of CaseEdinfor includes the provision of SAP consulting services, comprehensive SAP training and maintenance or support for operation of SAP systems in production. The products and services include SAP consulting, SAP Training, pre-configured solutions as well as E-Commerce consulting and provision of ASP Outsourcing Services.

This memorandum includes the exploration and development in the area of software application solutions, projects related with the EUREKA Program from the European community and discussion on the mutual aspects of cooperation. This mutual cooperation will facilitate the close cooperation of projects between Macau and the European Union through internship programs and participation of international projects especially the EUREKA Program from the European Community.

【澳門日報】澳門電腦與系統工程研究所昨日和葡萄牙電力公司集團的CaseEdinfor公司簽署合作協議，兩機構將透過一系列的實習培訓計劃和參與國際項目開展合作。

協議簽署儀式於昨日中午十二時在澳門電腦與系統工程研究所舉行，澳門電腦與系統工程研究所主席馬許願與CaseEdinfor公司董事會主席費利拉代表所屬機構簽署合作協議。

澳門電腦與系統工程研究所成立於一九九六年，屬非牟利機構，研究所的宗旨是成為溝通中國及葡萄牙科技合作的橋樑，致力推動澳門在資訊技術、通訊、 電子及電力系統方面的科學研究、技術開發、技術轉移及培訓的發展。馬許願表示，澳門電腦與系統工程研究所致力推動澳門的資訊技術及軟件開發工作，相信與葡國CaseEdinfor公司的合作，可助研究所取得更大的成果。

CaseEdinfor公司的發展目標主要在系統應用及產品方面，並為客戶提供顧問、培訓、維護及操作的技術支援服務、電子商貿顧問服務及應用軟件的外判工程等。

該公司董事局主席費利拉表示，該公司近年致力軟件工程的開發，以及組織專責工作小組研究解決軟件工程面對的問題，相信澳門電腦與系統工程研究所會成為其主要的合作伙伴，共同合作發展各項研究。

昨日簽訂的協議主要內容是兩機構會在軟件應用開發技術合作，包括一系列的實習培訓計劃，並探討聯合發展有關歐盟的研究項目和國際項目，如尤里卡計劃等，以促進澳門和歐盟地區的科學技術交流。
